Yes, AND Foundation Presenting
Yes, AND Forward Framework

Humans thrive with access to tools that help them regulate, connect, and respond with intention.

YES, AND Foundation is a nonprofit helping educators, caregivers, parents, and communities access practical, brain-based tools for regulation, resilience, and reframing in homes, schools, and communities.

We bring real-life tools to the adults raising, teaching, supporting, and caring for children so they can respond with greater intention when it matters most.

YUP, I WANT TO SUPPORT THIS MISSION

BEHAVIOR IS COMMUNICATION

Most people are taught to respond to behavior.

To correct it.
Fix it.
Control it.

But behavior is often communication.

A child is not simply “acting out.”
They may be overwhelmed.

They are not “being difficult.”
They may need safety, regulation, or connection.

When we understand what the brain is communicating beneath the surface, everything changes.

We stop reacting only to the moment in front of us and begin responding with greater awareness, regulation, and intention.

Having an understanding of the brain reframes everything.

Before learning can happen, people need safety and connection.

That is true for children.
And it is true for adults too.

You can read the books.
Listen to the podcasts.
Try to stay calm.

BUT IN THE MOMENT?

When stress rises in your own body…
When emotions escalate…
When a child is overwhelmed…

That is where most strategies fall apart.

Children need adults who can model regulation, resilience, and forward motion in real life.

Too often, adults are expected to lead, teach, parent, and respond well in stressful moments without ever being given the language or tools to do so.

  • People are overwhelmed.
  • Families are stretched thin.
  • Schools are carrying more than ever.
  • Communities are looking for connection, clarity, and practical support.

Yes, AND Foundation exists to help close that gap.

We bring brain-based tools and shared language into everyday life so adults can better understand themselves, respond with intention, and model what growth can look like in real time.

What makes forward motion possible...

  • Regulation helps us pause before we react.
  • Resilience helps us stay connected when things are hard.
  • Reframing helps us see a new path forward.

This is how learning happens. This is how patterns shift.

This is how people begin to respond with intention instead of reacting from stress, fear, or overwhelm.
STOP PIECE-MEALING A PLAN TOGETHER

Twist the knife a bit more here, talk about the problem, but then reassure them it's not their fault. Mauris pellentesque eget lorem malesuada wisi nec, nullam mus. Mauris vel mauris. Orci fusce ipsum faucibus scelerisque.

A simple framework for real-life growth

At the heart of YES, AND Foundation is an adult-first, child-centered framework designed to help people understand what is happening, regulate in real time, and move forward with greater intention.

This work is grounded in the understanding that regulation creates access to resilience, connection, learning, and growth.

  • REGULATION --> Learn how to pause, notice, and come back to the center in real time.
  • RESILIENCE --> Build the capacity to stay with hard things, recover, and keep showing up.
  • REFRAME --> Shift patterns of thought and behavior so you can respond differently and move forward with intention.

This is not three separate ideas.

It is one connected process anyone can practice in homes, schools, and communities.

THE YES, AND FORWARD FRAMEWORK

Brain-based tools for real

moments, real nervous systems, and real growth.

Regulation

Regulation is a skill that can be practiced. This work helps adults notice what is happening in the brain and body before reacting, so they can pause, reset, and respond with greater intention.

Resilience

Resilience can be taught, modeled, and strengthened over time. Through shared language and practical tools, adults learn how to stay present in hard moments without getting stuck inside them.

Reframing

Reframing helps make the invisible work visible. It gives adults a way to look beneath the surface, consider a new perspective, and ask what may be needed instead of only reacting to what is happening.

Awareness

Forward motion starts with awareness. When we can name what is happening, we create space to choose what comes next.

Shared Language

The framework gives families, schools, and communities language they can return to again and again. Shared language helps people pause long enough to connect, repair, and move forward.

Real-Life Practice

This framework was built in real life. Not theory. Real moments. Real nervous systems. Real growth. The work continues to evolve alongside the people and communities practicing it.

Raising Regulated AND Resilient Humans

A course for parents, caregivers, educators, and adults who want practical tools for the moments that matter most.

Raising Regulated AND Resilient Humans brings the YES, AND Forward Framework into the everyday work of raising, teaching, supporting, and caring for children.

This course helps adults understand behavior through a brain-based lens, build tools for regulation and connection, and respond with more clarity when moments feel hard.

  • Understand what behavior may be communicating

  • Look beneath the surface and begin asking, “What is needed here?” instead of only reacting to what is happening.

  • Practice regulation before response
Use simple tools to pause, reset, and respond with greater intention.

  • Build connection in hard moments
Strengthen the adult-child relationship through language, modeling, and repair.

This is not about becoming a perfect parent, caregiver, educator, or leader.

It is about having tools you can return to when life gets loud, moments get hard, and children need regulated, resilient adults beside them.

THIS. WORK. BELONGS. IN. REAL. LIFE.

Yes, AND Foundation is here to help make brain-based tools more accessible, more usable, and more connected to the lives people are actually living.

One regulated adult changes everything.

BECAUSE CHILDREN BENEFIT WHEN ADULTS HAVE WHAT THEY NEED.

And stronger adults help build stronger homes, schools, and communities.

She is also a neurodivergent mama, former school leader, and lifelong learner who created Yes, AND from a personal and professional belief: when adults have better tools, children benefit.

What began as a personal framework has grown into a broader mission to bring accessible, brain-based tools into homes, schools, and communities.

When adults understand the brain and have practical tools to use in daily life, they are more equipped to:

  • Respond instead of react
  • Create stronger relationships
Support children with more clarity and connection
  • Build safer, more grounded environments for growth
  • Model what it looks like to learn, repair, and move forward

This is how change spreads.

Not only through information, but through visible modeling, shared language, and real-life practice.

COMMUNITIES GROW STRONGER WHEN ADULTS HAVE THE TOOLS TO REGULATE, BUILD RESILIENCE, AND REFRAME TO MOVE FORWARD.

Here’s how we support communities:

In Real Life
WE LEAD

Keynote Speaking for Spaces Ready to Do This Work Differently

Dr. Courtney Bishop speaks to organizations, schools, teams, and communities that are ready to move beyond surface-level strategies and into deeper, sustainable change.

When adults have the tools to regulate, reframe, and respond differently, the ripple effect reaches everyone around them.

WE PARTNER

School and Community Partnerships

We partner with schools, organizations, and communities who want to create environments where people feel safe, connected, and ready to learn. This is not about fixing behavior.

It’s about understanding what behavior is communicating and responding in a way that builds trust, regulation, and growth.

We Create

Workshops and Community Learning Experiences

We create spaces where adults can come together to learn, reflect, and practice. Not just listening, but engaging. Not just understanding, but applying.

These experiences are designed to help people see themselves in the work and walk away with something they can use immediately.

WE TEACH

Practical, Brain-Based Tools for Adults

Everything we teach is grounded in brain science and built for real moments.

The moments when stress is high. When emotions take over. When you want to respond differently, but don’t know how yet.

We break down what’s happening in the brain so you can respond with clarity instead of reaction.
